Colorado Ski Country USA Kids Ski Passport Expands to Now Include Grades K-6

With Budget-Friendly Multi-Mountain Pass Options, Colorado Ski Country USA Resorts Welcome Skiers and Riders With a Mountain for Everyone

One pass, a whole season of joy. The Ski Passport is how Colorado kids grow up on snow.

Denver, CO — Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) is proud to announce a major expansion of its longstanding Ski Passport program to include kindergarten through second grade students. With the addition of grades K through 2 to the program, the Ski Passport now welcomes all elementary-aged children—grades K–6—to experience the joy of skiing and snowboarding and build lasting memories on the mountain.

"This program now provides a seven-year on-ramp to the sport for kids and their families at an accessible price point," said Colorado Ski Country USA President and CEO, Melanie Mills. "From first turns to lifelong traditions, the family-favorite Ski Passport is where it all begins."

The K-6 Ski Passport is an open invitation to explore the outdoors, embrace winter adventure, and connect with loved ones in the fresh mountain air. With passes that grow with your kids, families can now spend more time on the slopes, together.

"This expansion is all about planting the seeds for a lifelong love of the mountains," continued Mills. "We’re proud to help families share experiences that span generations. This is an investment by Colorado Ski Country USA resorts in childhood, in shared family experiences, and in the future of skiing and snowboarding."

Presented by Christy Sports, the K–6 Ski Passport sets the standard for youth ski passes, offering access to more days, more mountains, and more grades than any other program. Open to all children, regardless of where they live, the Ski Passport is the largest offering of its kind: a multi-mountain pass designed specifically for kids, helping families explore the full range of skiing and snowboarding experiences the state has to offer.

With four days each at 19 Colorado resorts, the Ski Passport delivers a season of skiing for less than $1 a day:

Ski Passport Includes:

  • 4 days at each of 19 participating Colorado resorts—that’s 76 potential days on the slopes
  • 2 free junior rental packages—courtesy of presenting sponsor Christy Sports
  • $67 for grades K–2 and $72 for grades 3–6, subject to change throughout the 2025-26 season
  • Available to all kids—no Colorado residency required
  • Participating resorts: Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, Echo Mountain, Eldora Mountain Resort, Granby Ranch, Howelsen Hill Ski Area, Loveland Ski Area, Monarch Mountain, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Purgatory Resort, Snowmass, Steamboat, Sunlight Mountain Resort, Telluride Ski Resort, and Winter Park Resort.

Also returning this season are CSCUSA's Gems passes, offering flexible, multi-mountain access for teens, parents, and adults. The Gems program includes 10 participating ski areas in 2025-26.

  • The Gems Teen Pass ($207) provides 2 days at each of 10 participating resorts for skiers and snowboarders ages 12–17.
  • The Gems Parent Pass ($337) is available for one adult per household with a Ski Passport or Gems Teen Pass holder and includes 2 days at each of the 10 participating Gems resorts.
